Kirkcarrion Gallery offers high quality contemporary art created by established and aspiring artists living in the remote North Pennines.

Visitors will find an inspiring range of work in different media - everything from paintings through to modern ceramics, fused glass, fabric art and jewellery.  The gallery is run as a not-for-profit collective, staffed by the member artists. By purchasing work from the gallery, visitors are directly supporting those member artists and associate artists from the remote North Pennines.  Our artists live in Teesdale, Weardale and Cumbria, mostly within a ten mile radius of the gallery, and much of their work is inspired by the rural communities, wildlife and wild landscapes of the area.

Situated in picturesque Middleton-in-Teesdale, the gallery is very much on the edge of England’s last wilderness.
